Ayurveda

Today's health and wellness 'revolution' is actually nothing new. It harkens back 3000-5000 years ago. Ayurveda serves as an increasingly popular holistic health option with new interest in integrative medicine.

Ayurveda is an ancient medical practice with a holistic and individualized approach to wellness, it is  one of the oldest traditional medical systems in the world.  “Ayurveda” is Sanskrit from  “ayur,” meaning “life,” and “veda,” meaning “science” or “knowledge.”

Ayurveda translates to “the science of life” and divides medicine into eight canonical components, helping to balance the human body.
